Dying from COVID-19 or Dying from Hunger: Understanding Securitisation and Social Mobilisation in the Arab World during the pandemic
Organised by inkyfada, this webinar is part of a series of webinars under the slogan “Social Protection after Social Distancing”, that is part of a larger research project hosted by the Arab Hub For Social protection from Covid on “The Covid-19 pandemic and social protection in the Arab region”. This project was launched by the Arab Reform Initiative (ARI), in partnership with a group of research centers (The Policy Initiative, The Phoenix Center for Economic and Informatics Studies, The Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights, The Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights), as well as a number of independent Arab media platforms (Mada Masr, Daraj Media and inkyfada).
