3 Questions on Social Protection in Lebanon – Introduction

This video introduces a series developed and produced by the Centre for Social Sciences Research & Action (CeSSRA). The “Three Questions on Social Protection in Lebanon” series sheds light on how Lebanon’s economic collapse has dramatically exacerbated existing social inequalities, offering first hand testimony and commentary on issues relevant to the right to health, the elderly, disabled people, vulnerable people, and the rights of workers and employees. It places social rights, social security, and welfare state back on the public policy agenda in order to demand practical reforms of the social security system in Lebanon.
