The 12th session of the Intersessional Group of Experts on Disability (IGED) discusses the draft “Arab Roadmap for the Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (2026–2032)”, reviews ESCWA guidance on inclusive economic policies and skills alignment and sets priorities for the 2026–2027 action plan.
The meeting features the adoption of a final version of the Roadmap, aimed at strengthening regional alignment on inclusive economic policies and enhancing the capacity to promote economic opportunities for persons with disabilities.
