The World Social Security Forum (WSSF 2025), organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA), will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 29 September to 3 October 2025. It is hosted by the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), with support from the Retirement Fund (Incorporated) (KWAP) and the Implementation Coordination Unit, Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM) as the secretariat of the Malaysia Social Protection Council (MySPC).
The World Forum is the most important international event in social security. It will gather more than 1,500 participants from over 130 countries, including ministers, CEOs, senior executives, experts and international organizations.
The WSSF 2025 will focus on shaping social security for a world in transition. As societies face profound demographic, labour market, green and technological transformations, social security is essential for protection, empowerment and resilience. To fulfil these key objectives, social security systems and organizations must adapt to changes and seize opportunities for innovation.
