
This paper presents an overview of cash allowance policies for persons with disabilities in several countries around the world. It also examines the reality of these policies in Lebanon, as well as the cash allowance provided by the Lebanese government to people with disabilities, the National Disability Allowance (NDA). The paper also tackles the conceptual dimensions of this issue and includes a proposed position regarding the policy on cash allowance for persons with disabilities in Lebanon.
