
The present policy brief explores multidimensional inequalities affecting young people face in Jordan by examining three interconnected pillars: education, employment and entrepreneurship, and civic participation. While significant progress has been made in expanding access to education and strengthening youth-related institutional frameworks, persistent structural disparities continue to constrain the full integration of young people into the economy and society, particularly young women, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable groups.
The policy brief highlights the importance of adopting an integrated approach that brings together education reform, improved employability, a stronger entrepreneurship ecosystem and more effective civic participation. This approach aims to transform the demographic dividend into a driver of inclusive and equitable growth, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Economic Modernization Vision 2033.
