ESCWA Introduces a Project for the Modernization of Demographic and Social Statistics in Arab Countries

Given the urgent need to strengthen the overall capacity of national statistical systems to produce detailed, reliable and timely statistics to evaluate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ESCWA organized the sixth meeting of the technical advisory group on demographic and social statistics in Arab countries.
