A joint civil society submission to the IMF and World Bank’s review of the Debt Sustainability Framework for Low-Income Countries, co-signed by Arab Watch Coalition, Tahrir Institute, and Yemeni organisations. It argues that debt sustainability must be assessed not only through repayment capacity but also through the preservation of fiscal space for development, social protection, and recovery — with particular attention to fragile and conflict-affected contexts such as Yemen and Syria.
