The study presents the overall outcomes and analyses related to public and private care institutions for older persons in Tunisia and the social, economic, health and demographic profile of their residents. It reveals the reasons for which older persons stay in care institutions, and evaluates the services provided by these institutions, the degree of their governance and the extent to which they respond to the specificities of older persons.
