This guide, the result of collaborative efforts between the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), is a comprehensive resource designed to empower policymakers across the Arab region in their pursuit of crafting disability-inclusive employment policies in line with Article 27 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. In this regard, persons with disabilities still face barriers and discrimination in the labour market resulting in higher unemployment and inactivity compared to persons without disabilities.
