It underscores the urgency of tackling deep-rooted challenges such as poverty, unemployment, social exclusion, and inequality, which persist despite global progress in wealth, health, and education. The declaration calls for a people-centered, rights-based, and inclusive approach to social development, recognizing that peace, social justice, and human rights are interdependent. It also reaffirms the centrality of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda in driving transformative change.
