This study analyses the factors hindering the inclusion and economic empowerment of persons with disabilities, by delving into the results of a survey targeting persons with disabilities and using a comparative analysis approach. The study aims to examine the views of persons with disabilities on the challenges they face in the workplace. It also seeks to explore the root causes of these challenges, in order to determine the extent to which they are linked to legislative and policy gaps, as well as to discriminatory institutional practices arising from a lack of awareness and limited knowledge of laws and rights in general.
