On the sidelines of the third Global Disability Summit (GDS) held on 2 and 3 April in Berlin, ESCWA organized a meeting titled “Inclusive Employment in the Arab Region: Challenges and Policy Recommendations”.
Government officials, policymakers, academics, representatives of non-governmental and international organizations, explored the barriers limiting employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in the region and proposed policy recommendations to promote inclusive and equitable employment.
