The Alternative Policy Solutions Project Hosts a Public Event on Egypt’s New Labor Law

The Alternative Policy Solutions Project at The American University in Cairo organized a public event titled “The New Labor Law: Safeguarding Workers’ Rights or Empowering Employers?” The event featured Engineer Ehab Mansour, Member of Parliament and Deputy Chairman of the Manpower Committee; Dr. Amal Abdel Hamid, Director of the Women’s Program at the Center for Trade Union and Workers’ Services; and was moderated by Mohamed Basal, Managing Editor of Al-Shorouk newspaper.
