This contribution is submitted in response to the call for input issued by the Intergovernmental Working Group on Older Persons. It aims to inform deliberations on the general framework, architecture, and guiding principles of a legally binding instrument on the human rights of older persons, ahead of the first substantial session of the working group (13-17 July 2026).
